60 one-hour sessions Live and Interactive

What is it?

Started in 2010, it is a conference delivered totally online using Zoom. There are 60 one-hour sessions presented

live, with presenters from around the United States and the world. (We have had presenters in Nepal, India,

Australia, England, and France.) There are six sessions each weekday for two weeks. No concurrent sessions. And each session is live-captioned. Plus, all the sessions are recorded.

What’s it about?

While mainly focused on distance education, the conference has covered a wide range of topics including classroom

design, organizational best practices, emerging technologies, academic integrity, accessibility, and more.

How many people attend?

Attendance at each session ranges from 10-75 participants—much like a face-to-face conference. Our most

popular registration is the Institutional. That means everyone from a school, like Duke University, can attend.

Who is the audience?

The conference is of interest to directors of distance/online education, directors of instructional technology, instructional

designers, and faculty of various disciplines.

“Thank you for organizing and hosting the Transforming the Teaching & Learning Environment Conference again this year!  I thought this year’s conference was even more impressive than the one last year.  There were many excellent presentations!”

What does it cost to be a sponsor?

There are two levels of sponsorships for the conference:

GOLD SPONSOR ($2,000 fee): includes all the Silver level features along with your own Zoom Room for the entire conference as well as a non-sales presentation slot during the conference (only two of these available).

SILVER SPONSOR ($1,500 fee): each sponsor has their logo included in our advertising, a verbal recognition at the start or conclusion of each session, and their logo on a slide at the conclusion of each session.
